Legend says he still wanders the wastelands helping those who find themselves at the mercy of of endless tribes of petrol marauders. Somewhere after the Death of the Great Humongous warlord, Max's car, (the last of the V8 Interceptors), was found burnt and destroyed, but no sign of Max.
